Former World and Africa player of the year, George Weah is calling for the inclusion of Sellas Tetteh in the technical team of the Black Stars ahead of the World Cup.
Speaking on Joy Sports’ World Cup Diary on Monday, the former Liberian international noted that Tetteh has garnered so much experience with his U-20 conquest of the World and must be drafted into the technical team.
Sellas Tetteh led the Black Satellites to their first ever World Cup victory in 2009 beating Brazil in a heart wrenching penalty kick in the final.
He has since been appointed as coach of the Rwanda National Team and will launch his new book on his success story on Tuesday.
That notwithstanding, George Weah believes Ghana can still tap into
the rich experience of Sellas in the World Cup which is some three weeks away.
The 30 man provisional squad named by Coach Milovan Rajevac has five players of the U-20 World Cup winning team and George Weah believes it will be easy for Sellas Tetteh to bond with the players.
