AshantiGold and their headline sponsors Permafix Industries Limited have made a donation to the Children's Ward of the Obuasi Government hospital.
Items donated included Cot sheet, water Heater, Screens, Towels, Cups and Rechargeable lamps.
The presentation was led by Mr Clement Donkor, Operations Manager of AshantiGold with some players taking time out of their pre-season to be present.
Sammy a representative of Permafix in the Ashanti Region was also present.
This forms part of Permafix’s Corporate Social Responsibility to the community, which has already seen them organize a soccer clinic for school kids of the AGA Schools.
Permafix produces tile adhesives (Tile Cement), grouts, cleaners and waterproof cement admix.
