Streetwise Promotions in association with Errol Hawk Sports Management and Goodtime Promotion will be bringing Championship boxing back to the Accra on Boxing day December 26th dubbed: “Time to prove yourself.”
The main bout will see former Black Bombers boxer Duke Micah square off against Ekow Wilson for the world boxing organisation (WBO) African Bataweight title. Micah, who represented Ghana at the 2012 summer Olympics believes he is up and ready for the task ahead.
“All the boxers in Africa in my weight division are scared of me and I don’t give a damn, everybody who is ready to fight me, I’m ready to fight you because I want to be a world champion, he told Joy Sports
“I will need everybody to come and watch a good show because we are coming there to perform to be a winner because I’m always a winner.”
“Even you can see every time I’m laughing because I know am a winner, no boxer can beat me.”
"I’m ready to face everybody who is in bantamweight, because boxing is what I do, I don’t do any job, boxing is my life so whoever is ready to face me I’m ready to face the person."
Also on the bill will be the national Welterweight title fight between Justice Addy and Isaac Aryee, with Emmanuel Anim and Ayi Ayitey battling it out for the National Super Middleweight title.
Maxwell Amponsah and Stephen Abbey will engage in an eight round contest in the Light Heavyweight division, with Felix Williams and Kamarudin Boyefio also fighting in another eight round contest in the Super Featherweight division.
