The 4th Nationwide implementation of the FIFA 11 for Health project which was launched in Ghana by Samuel Eto’o and Prof Dvorak is starting in Accra and Sunyani and its environs.
The event which will run till January 8 will see 180 Physical Education teachers trained in Accra and Sunyani.
The programme then moves to Wa and Bolgatanga from January 11 to 15 where another 180 Physical Education teachers will be trained.
After the training, the PE Teachers will go back to their various schools and implement the programme over an 11 week period which will see 360 schools nationwide covered.
FIFA 11 for Health is a football based health education programme which is done in collaboration with FIFA, Ghana Football Association, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health.
Dr Pambo is the National Project leader for the FIFA 11 for health project.
