The Glo CAF Awards has been dominated by talks of a possible historic fifth crown for Ivorian Yaya Toure. From the Ghanaian perspective, there have been talks about Dede Ayew winning the prestigious individual award on the continent after missing out in 2011.

These talks have over shadowed what will be a night of celebrating the best African players, coaches and teams within the year under review.
