Korea DPR arrived in South Africa on Wednesday for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
Dr Danny Jordaan, Chief Executive Officer of the SA 2010 Organising Committee, welcomed Korea DPR to South Africa for their second World Cup appearance.
Their first one in 1966, said Jordaan, proved to be an exciting one when they managed to beat Italy 1-0, getting to the last eight of the tournament.
“It is great for the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to come to the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa and we have a great desire for success in the tournament,” said Korea DPR coach, Kim Jong Hun.
