Bayern Munich star Arjen Robben is fit to play in the World Cup for the Netherlands, according to the doctor treating him.
The Dutch star has been working intensely hard to recover from a hamstring strain in time to be fit and it seems that he has now won his battle.
"I think he can play. When they want to leave him out of tactical reasons - okay. But you can't say that he isn't fit." Dick van Toorn told TZ.
"I say fit is fit. If Arjen doesn't feel pain anymore, than he is fit. And than he has to play."
Bert van Marwijk's Dutch side open their campaign against Denmark on Monday June 14 in Johannesburg.
