Ghana expects to have two key defensive personnel available when the Black Stars play Germany in the final group game against Germany. The Black Stars went into the second group game against Australia without John Mensah and Isaac Vorsah and managed to draw 1-1 but suffered another injury scare when full-back John Paintsil was carried off in injury-time.But a day after the game in Rustenburg, Rajevac says he expects to have both Mensah and Painstil available but doubts still linger over the fitness of Vorsah.“Paintsil is okay. He joined us for dinner yesterday (Saturday) and he was fine. He would be okay for the game against Germany,” the Ghana coach said at a post-match press conference at the team’s hotel on Sunday.“Vorsah, I think remains the biggest problem. We would have to see whether he will be ready to start the next game.”For Mensah, he could have been able [to play] but we intentionally sat him out. He is okay for the Germany match,” Rajevac added.Ghana plays Germany in a potential knockout match at Johannesburg's Soccer City Stadium. The Black Stars go into the final group game with four points and on top of the table in Group D, one better than Germany.Source: Ghanafa.org
