Dreams FC coach has labelled his side as rank outsiders for the league title as he rounds up preparations for the start of the league.
The Kweiman side have beefed up their squad with experienced league campaigners such as Emmanuel Hayford, Issac Akrong and
Smallboy Kwarbah as they prepare for their debut season in the top flight league.
These signings coupled with the likes of Eric Gawu in the squad have given Dreams FC a strong shout to win the league.
But Akonnour has called on fans not to build any castles in the air.
“Any other person who says we are coming to win the league might be dreaming,” he told Adom FM Sports
“We are humble and very happy with where we are and we want to make sure we stay in the league.”
“Whatever comes aside that is a bonus.”
“We believe in our qualities, we believe if we all work hard, we will get there.”
Dreams play Hearts of Oak in a preseason friendly game this weekend.
