Ghanaians are looking forward to a rainy season partly because it will solve this year's water crisis. But scenes like this shows that perhaps, there is something wrong with the Ghanaian brain.
There is a great disrespect for rivers and waterways in Ghana. Galamsey operation are polluting River Pra and other water bodies. And in the city centers like this place at Circle in Accra, it becomes difficult to resist the conclusion that Ghana is a filthy country.
Will the AMA wait for another disaster to happen before it attempts to desilt some of these gutters and river ways?
