Experienced forward Yahaya Mohammed has attributed Aduana Stars’ stuttering start to the season down to lack of unity amongst the playing body.
The Dormaa side are languishing in the bottom places of the league despite signing a whole host of big name players.
The poor start has seen coach Ahmed Nureeden and his assistant all part ways with the club but Yaya believes without the much needed bond, all the efforts will prove futile.
“Unity is what is disturbing us at the moment. Without unity, all our efforts will be in vain,” he told Asempa Sports.
“We can have Mourinho on the bench on the bench, bring in Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar and Hazard and still be unsuccessful if we are not united.”
“We are trying to build and unite.”
Speculations are rife the players are in different factions with the lack of playing time for Stephen Adams the main cause of the division.
However, the former Premier league winner believes otherwise and feels different personality and attitude of players in the team is the major contributing factor to the club’s poor showing.
“I admit there is no unity in the team. Everyone has come in with different attitude but we are trying to build and unite.”
“It is good these things are happening now so we rectify it as soon as possible.”
“The problem with Aduana now is lack of unity. It can happen anywhere.”
Aduana will be hoping to claim their first point of the campaign when they play as guests to Techiman City.
