The ongoing registration and validation of teachers aimed at weeding out unqualified teachers from classrooms across the country has been described as belated.
Stephen Densu, an executive of Innovative Teachers Association, says the use of fake documents by teachers, which the registration seeks to preempt, has been on the ascendency because the Ghana Education Service (GES) has not been proactive.
