Wa All Stars coach Amos Adepa has attributed their fine start of the season to the club’s preseason tour of Saudi Arabia.
The Wa based club are on the top of the Ghana league after winning maximum games and scoring four goals and conceding none.
Adepa, who replaced Jimmy Cobblah three weeks before the start of the league, believes the trip has helped his side to adapt to his tactics and game plan.
“Throughout the preseason I got the opportunity to know the team on a trip to Saudi Arabia,” he told Joy Sports.
“Being with them has helped them to understand my philosophy and the type of game I play and everything I bring on board.”
“So the understanding was there and moving to Saudi has helped us to gel some more to my game and tactics.”
“We have a target. Everyone has a target and ours is to get into the top four. When we have a target everyone must work towards it and we have one mentality to get into our destination.”
Wa All Stars host Liberty Professional this weekend on matchday 3 of the league.
