Teachers and parents have a temporary relief to put their kids in the care of Luv F.M on Monday, 7th March, 2016, as they engage in educative and entertaining activities.
Children will gather at the Banie Villa Function Ground at Kentinkron, in Kumasi to showcase their talent in a variety entertainment as they take part in the Luv FM Kiddie Festival to mark Ghana’s 59th Independence anniversary.
It’s the first public holiday in 2016, and kids are looking forward to a memorable occasion as they take time off hectic academic activity to celebrate their country.
“The party will help us relax and play as we always do at these parties. The Cake and Ice Cream Party’ was my first party, and I have promised to be at every kid’s party”, remarked Benedicta Agyarko of Toddlers Academy.
Benedicta looks forward to relive her experience of participating in games she took part in and enjoyed at the previous event.
In fact, she wishes to see more, and that’s exactly Luv FM and Multi TV promises on Monday, 7th March.
A teacher at Global Links Academy, John Adu, reveals the periodic outing has helped raised the confidence of children who have been part of Luv FM’s events over the years.
“Our school always registers for the event because some of our children will go on stage to perform, and they come out braver than before… even those who are timid, you see them there very excited”. He said.
Participating schools will compete and win prizes in poetry recital, rendition of patriotic songs and tell stories of colonization and struggles of our forefathers for independence.
One of the key attractions at this year’s event will be the ‘azonto’ dance competition between some monkeys and performances from the monkey band with each child expected to receive a bottle of soft drink.
Events and Promotions Executive at Multimedia, Kumasi, Louis Lamis, says his outfit is making all arrangements to ensure the event is a success.
He wants to keep other packages to his chest, describing them as ‘surprises’.
So make a date and don’t miss out. Come meet other children from other schools, play and learn earn in a relaxed but exciting atmosphere.
Kiddie Festival is powered by Luv 99.5 FM and Joy Prime on Multi TV, with sponsorship by Business and Financial Times, Bonne Arrivee Restaurant and Inspired Pictures.
