News making rounds in the Serbian press has it that Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac will replace Radomir Antic as Serbian coach if the Serbian Football Federation (FSS) appeal to FIFA to reduce the four match ban placed on Antic fails.
Rajevac's two-year contract with Ghana expires in August and has expressed his desire to extend his stay as Black Stars coach.
However the report is speculating that Rajevac is putting on hold talks with the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to buy more time in anticipation of Fifa's verdict to commence negotiations with the FSS once the verdict goes against Antic.
Vice President of the GFA Fred Pappoe confirmed exclusively to GFM Sports that the FA's attention has been brought to such a publication.
"Yes, the FA have been reliably informed of such a publication but we are not alarmed," he said.
"We have spoken to the most important person and has told us that the news is completely false."
Mr. Pappoe who also doubles up as the chairman of the Black Stars management committee also confirmed the GFA are yet to commence fresh negotiations with Rajevac over his contract extension.
"The FA is yet to commence negotiations with the coach but we plan to do that soon," he revealed to GFM Sports.
