Kotoko coach David Duncan is lamenting on his side’s woeful finishing following his sides goalless draw with Ashantigold.
The result leaves the Porcupines winless after three games with only two points out of a maximum nine.
Kotoko had most of the ball for large portions of the game and will be disappointed to have breached the backline of the Miners.
For Duncan, poor judgement and erratic finishing was their major bane.
“We made a few incursions but we still looking erratic in front of goal. In situations you expect players to exercise a bit of composure and patience, they got jittery.”
“I must admit there were not few clear cut chances but the few we got were not used well.”
“On the whole, we didn’t get the result we want but the boys raised their game as compared to Medeama.”
“I hope this will not be a flash in the pan.”
On his opponents Ashantigold, Duncan believe they executed their game plan well and went home with the point they craved for.
“In the last couple of games, we seem to have an edge over them but they knew what was at stake especially the fact that if we had won, we would been level on points with them.”
“They gave it their all. They were satisfied with the points they earned judging by their setup.”
Kotoko’s next game is against Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park this weekend.
