Ghana’s home-based national team has returned with the winner’s trophy from the tri-nation tournament in Liberia after beating the host nation 1-0 in the final game.
The Black Stars who arrived back in Accra on Monday scored the solitary goal over the Lone Star through Bismark Idan to seal victory in the tournament that commemorated the Liberia's 163rd Independence.
The winner ensured that Ghana finished tops of the three-team table with four points, one better than Liberia with Guinea at the bottom with a point.
