Ghana midfielder, Laryea Kingston has not given up dreams of returning to the Black Stars.
He told Joy Sports’ Nathaniel Attoh in an interview; “I am still a Ghanaian I will try my best in my club and we’ll see what happens.”
“I can’t turn my back on my country,” he emphasised.
Kingston for the second time was controversially dropped from the final World Cup squad with allegations of a row with Serbian coach Milovan Rajevac- an allegation he has vehemently denied.
The versatile midfielder is also eyeing a move to the Spanish La Liga next season after agreeing to leave Hearts of Midlothian in Scotland.
The midfielder had a mixed bag performance with the Scottish giants but had to sever ties with the club over his wages.
“I don’t think I am going to Hearts again. The team wants to bring their budget down so they asked me to bring my wages down but I told them that is not possible so I have to leave.
After playing in Israel, Russia, Libya and Scotland, Laryea Kingston prefers a move to Spain where he claims offers have come from.
“I have a couple of options so I am waiting for the best one.”
He said he is looking forward to playing in the Spanish la liga because it suits his style of play.
