Borussia Dortmund moved within five points of German Bundesliga league leaders Bayern Munich following a 3-1 win over Augsburg at the WWK Arena on Sunday night.
Dortmund had to come from a goal behind to claim their 20 league win of the season which sees them in second place on the table with 64 points.
The loss for Augsburg sees them drop to 15th place with 27 points, only outside the relegation zone on goal difference.
Francisco Caiuby opened the scoring for Augsburg in the 16th minute before Henrikh Mkhitaryan equalised on the stroke of half time.
Dortmund came out strong in the second half and took the lead in the 69th minute courtesy of a strike from Gonzalo Castro.
Adrian Ramos made certain of victory for Dortmund with their third goal in 75th minute.
The earlier afternoon Bundesliga game saw Bayer Leverkusen beat VfB Stuttgart 2-0 at the Mercedes-Benz Arena.
Goals in either half from Julian Brandt and Karim Bellarabi handed Leverkusen their 12th league win of the season which sees them up to sixth on the table with 42 points while Stuttgart are in 11th with 42 points.
