Wa All Stars left it late to beat New Edubiase 1-0 at the WA Park on Sunday on match day five of the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
New Edubaise went into the game with a well calculated defensive strategy as they frustrated the home side. The closest Wa All Stars came was demied by Ben Mensah in post for the Bekwai based club.
Edubiase also had their moment in the game but they failed to punish the jittery defense of the home side led by Hafiz Ahmed.
With no goals in the first half, the home side had no excuse than to win the game and they mounted an intense pressure on New
Edubiase but the away side looked resolute at the back.
However, Wa All Stars had to wait late in the game as Richard “Balotelli” Arthur sneaked past Edubiase defense to score the decisive goal at the Wa Park.
Wa All Stars are still at the second position with 11 points and are yet to lose a game in the ongoing season.
