Chief Executive Officer of Inter Allies, Eric Delali Senaya, has expressed delight at the call-up of youngster Evans Mensah to the Black Stars.
The winger has been called up as a late replacement for the injured David Accam ahead of the Black Stars’ double header against Mozambique.
Senaya, who acquired the services of Mensah a year ago, believes his call up is testament to the fact that hard work pays off in football.
“I think it is a good development for the player. He is young, still learning and I hope he will come there as a good student and learn from his senior colleagues,” Senaya told Joy Sports.
“It is a good opportunity to see that with hard work you will be able to reach the top.”
The Chief Executive Officer however warned that it was early to celebrate the news urging Evans Mensah to make the best out of the current situation
“It is too early for anybody to celebrate this news. He’s been given an opportunity to exhibit his talents over there.”
I hope he will take advantage of this opportunity, if he does a good job then the young ones can learn from his hard work.
Evans Mensah has already won three man of the match awards in five match days in the Ghana Premier League.
