40- Mubarak Wakaso is set to make his 40th appearance for the Black Stars. The midfielder made his first appearance in 2012 and has gone on to be a household name for the Black Stars.

45- Ghana defender John Boye has made exactly 45 appearances for the Black Stars and has scored 3 goals in these appearanes averaging a goal every 15 games. Boye’s last goal was the equalizer for Ghana against the Bafana Bafana in the African Cup of Nations.

48- Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has scored 48 goals in 98 appearances. The Shanghai SIPG striker is two short of reaching the milestone 50 goals.
