CK Akonnor has attributed his side’s 1-0 loss to Techiman City at the Nana Ameyaw Park to bad refereeing.
The Dawu-based side suffered their first defeat in the Ghana Premier League last Sunday in the battle of the new comers but the former Black Stars captain says the center man stole the show.
According to CK Akonnor, his side scored what appeared a legitimate goal through a back pass to level the score but center man Samuel Suker disallowed the goal.
CK Akonnor blamed the referee for the results of the game adding the performances of refeeres will see most away teams struggling in the league.
“Our game is gradually enjoying one of the best starts in so many years but the referees must be watched. We scored a clean goal but the referee disallowed it,” Akunnor told Asempa Sports.
“They must not take the shine away from the league with such performances. If they continue like this, no club will be able to pick a win away,” he added.
Dreams FC lost the game when Baba ‘John’ Mahama a spectacular goal after a solo run.
Techiman City have enjoyed three straight wins at home in the ongoing league.
