Ghana coach Avram Grant is satisfied with his side’s output despite losing their hundred per cent record in the AFCON qualifiers.
The Stars were held in Maputo to a goalless draw in a game which sees the Stars’ qualification put on hold on.
Ghana were without the services of four regulars (Wakaso, Gyan, Ayew and Atsu) paving way for competitive debuts to be given to Ebenezer Assifuah and Alfred Duncan.
And for Grant, he is satisfied because qualification still remain in the hands of the Stars.
"We created enough chances to win the game but didn't score. At the end we took one point and we have 10 points now so it depends on us to qualify. Qualification is what we want," Grant said in a post-match interview.
"Black Stars played to win and we could have won. The team played like almost in the first game but had to do few changes in the tactics because key players were injured.
“I think the players who played instead of the injured did everything possible. You could see there was a lot of running and fighting."
Mauritius could narrow the gap to one point should they beat Rwanda in Kigali.
