Dreams FC coach CK Akonnor has hinted of a possible game plan to strangle WAFA when both sides meet in matchday six of the Ghana Premier League.
The Kweiman side have lost momentum after a blistering start to the campaign failing to win in their last three encounters.
Their opponents WAFA have created a niche for themselves as one of the best passing sides in the league and ahead of the encounter, Dreams coach Akonnour is aiming to destroy their rhythm by having much of the ball.
“They are a team that can possess and pass the ball very well and so we’ll not give them the chance to do that. We don’t want them to be comfortable and play,” Akonnor told the club’s website.
“They have a history of not winning away matches and our field is very good for football and so if we allow them to settle down and play it will be a bit of a problem because they know each other very well and a team which plays with discipline.”
“And so, we will not allow them to play, we want to make sure we mount pressure on them and make them uncomfortable for them to be disorganized.”
WAFA are yet to win away from home this season while Dreams have picked up four points out of a possible six at Dawu.
