Hearts of Oak fans were on their worst behaviour on Sunday in Accra as the Phobians lost for the first time this season.
The game was halted after the home fans flood the pitch with bottles and sachets of water after WA All Stars had scored their opening goal.
The home crowned did not agree with center referee Ernest Baffi’s decision to allow the goal stand after claiming WA All Stars attacker Kweku Asuandzi was in an offside position.
The fuming fans as a sign to express their anger threw objects and bottles of water onto the playing field which delayed proceedings for more than 5 minutes.
It took the intervention of some officials of the Rainbow Club and Coach Kenichi Yastuhashi to stop the irate fans from their barbaric acts.
The situation became worst after the referee denied the home team two clear penalties in the dying embers of the game..
Hearts could face a home ban by the disciplinary committee of the Ghana Football Association for the actions of their supports.
The Phobians have now dropped to second on the League table after losing their first game of the season.
