After close to five seasons in the second-tier League, Ebusua Dwarfs are planning to emulate the heroics of reigning Premier League champions Aduana Stars by securing a top four finish in the upcoming season season.
Aduana Stars finished in the top four and made history by winning the league title after making their debut appearance in the Premiership.
Dwarfs last won the Premier League title in 1966 and are keen on repeating that success next season.
The Cape Coast based Club have recorded stalemates in all three trial matches played so far in an ongoing training tour of Egypt.
Dwarfs midfielder Kwame Frimpong who is a former captain of the Black Starlets believes his side will be the surprise package for the upcoming season.
We the players our aim is to play in the Top4, Frimpong said, citing the example of Aduana Stars.
“Anything is possible,” he said.
