Ghanaian starlet Isaac Cofie is hoping to improve at Serie B side Torino after sealing a loan move from Genoa to gain experience.
Cofie, who turns 19 this month, made his debut last season for Genoa as a 64th minute substitute for Alberto Zapater against Bari. He is yet to make his debut in the two-week old second-tier League but the promising midfielder is not giving up.
“Torino is supposed to be a Serie B team on paper but they look more like a Serie A side because they have everything to play there. He have lost our first two matches but that will mean that the door could be shut on we the young ones,” Cofie told Ghanasoccernet.com
“Genoa want me to play and that is why I’m on loan but I’m positive and not giving up.” Cofie gained first team recognition after impressing with the primavera side.
