Ghana's football federation says it is still waiting for Milovan Rajevac to decide whether he wants to stay on as coach of the national team, and the Serbian has until Sunday to sign a new contract.
Media reports say Rajevac has joined Saudi club Al Ahly Jeddah as coach.
But spokesman Randy Abbey told The Associated Press on Friday that the GFA had not been told that Rajevac had quit and was still waiting on his decision after it gave him a seven-day ultimatum.
Abbey says the GFA has "given him an ultimatum and until it ends and he decides not to sign the new contract, only then would we know he has decided to part with the Black Stars."
Rajevac led Ghana to the quarter-finals of the 2010 World Cup. He has been offered a new four-year deal.
