Coach Emmanuel Kwasi Afranie of Premier League debutants, Mighty Jets, has expressed disappointment at the reaction of the club's fans following a 1-1 home draw with Wa All Stars at the weekend.
The fans were furious that the team failed to win their first home match after they lost their opening match away to Dwarfs in week one of the two-week old premier league.
They booed coach Afranie, accusing him of failing to help the team tactically while some even tried to assault him.
According to Afranie, the fans behaviour towards him after the game was unacceptable. The fans behaviour, according to him, was exactly strange to him since he had encountered similar instances before, however, he said, it is irritating sometimes when people who don’t know anything about football attack you.
He said the team did very well to win the match but were not lucky enough to win.
He maintained that it is too early to judge the team's fate in the league after playing only two matches, expressing hope that the team will improve on its performance to give the fans the desired results.
Mighty jets will be away on Sunday at the Baba Yara stadium to fired-up Asante Kotoko who demolished Liberty Professionals by 4-0.
