Security has been beefed up at Kpando Senior High School (KPANSEC) following an alleged attack by some male students of Kpando Technical Institute (KPANTECH) on Saturday.
Speaking to Joy News, a teacher at KPANSEC explained some KPANTECH students jumped walls and entered "our campus wielding cutlasses, machetes and all sort of dangerous items."
Both schools, situated at Kpando in the Volta Region have their campuses divided by a road.
According to the teacher, it is the second time students from KPANTECH have attacked KPANSEC.

He said authorities of KPANTECH paid for the cost of items that were destroyed after the first attack.
He told Joy News the clash was renewed last night after some old students of KPANSEC engaged in a fight with students from KPANTECH.

"The KPANTECH boys recognized some of the boys who are old students of our school so they vented their anger on our students when they came back from town," he explained.
He said a school bus, parts of the school's dormitory were vandalized by the irate students.
"They tried to organize themselves again this afternoon and that was when the police and authorities came in and calmed them down," he added.
He added that the principal of KPANTECH visited KPANSEC and pleaded with the students not to retaliate.
Although no arrests have been made yet, he said the police have been patrolling the campuses and calm has returned to the school.
