The Ghana Hockey Association has promised to host another successful major tournament this year.
The African Hockey Federation handed Ghana the rights to host the next African Club Championships before the turn of the year in December. The continent’s governing body turned to Ghana after the original hosts Zambia failed to meet the requirements.
This tournament comes almost a year after Ghana successfully hosted the African Hockey Cup of Nations.
Oko Nikoi Dzanie, who is the President of the Ghana Hockey Association told Joy Sports preparations have already begun.
He said committees are being put together to handle the various aspects of the games.
