The woes of Okwawu United seem far from over after an Accra-based businessman, Kennedy Agyepong, a majority shareholder of the club ended his relationship with the division one side.
The Nkawkaw-based team has struggled financially since its exit from the premier league five years ago.
Kennedy Agyepong popularly known as Kenpong, bought 80 per cent shares in the club some three months ago after negotiations with the Kwahu Traditional Council who are owners of the club.
Mr. Agyepong however ended the relationship because his contract with the club gave him the option to back out if he was not happy.
His lawyer Egbert Faibille Jnr told Joy Sports, Mr. Agyepong does not think he is in a position to get into the day-to-day management of club.
Mr. Faibille, however maintained the business tycoon will continue to support the activities of the club financially.
