Coach Adama Addy, the trainer for former IBF bantamweight champion, Joseph Agbeko has said his boxer will use a varied fight style to overcome IBF champion Yohnny Perez on December 11.
Agbeko will fight Perez in Mexico and is currently training in New York.
The bout was initially supposed to come off in November in the US but had to be moved due to negotiations by the promoters, Golden Boy and Don King.
The Ghanaian was named best puncher of the year 2007 by the world-acclaimed Ring Magazine after he stopped then champion, Luis Alberto Perez to win the IBF title.
Agbeko lost the IBF title to Yohnny Perez last year. Agbeko’s camp has had to tone down on training to ensure that he doesn’t get fatigued.
His trainer Adama Addy is confident that he will deliver, come December 11.
Agbeko thinks this bout has gotten him closer to realizing his dreams of becoming a unified champion in the bantamweight division.
