Board member of Hearts of Oak, Frank Nelson has rubbished claims the board held a meeting to discuss the future of Kenichi Yatsuhashi.
Reports in the media were rife that the Japanese American would be given a sack follow a slump in form as well as insubordination by the coach.
But Frank Nelson who doubles as a member of the Strategy committee has debunked all rumors
“I don’t know where that news came from and seriously I was really amazed to have heard that in the media,” he said
“We only met to discuss the first round of the season, did a general assessment of the team and looked at how we can improve things going forward.”
“Kenichi is still our coach and we have not taken any decision or whatsoever to part ways with him.”
Hearts are fourth in the league three points behind leaders Wa All Stars.
