The Rwanda Football federation has backed Coach Sellas Tetteh to qualify the team for the 2012 Nations Cup despite a jerky start.
Coach Sellas Tetteh has lost all two qualifiers by three goal margins to Benin and Cote d’lvoire respectively.
The ex-assistant Coach of the Black Stars’ performance has not been too impressive heightening rumor that he could be sacked before his two year deal ends.
The Minister of Sports and Culture of Rwanda, Joseph Habineza, has backed Sellas Tetteh to succeed.
He said he is a sports man and understands that a coach’s competence cannot be based on two match defeats.
