Ghana have made a good start to the African Women Championship after fighting back to beat Algeria 2-1 in the opening group B match.
Florence Okoe, captain of the Ghanaian side says they are determined to progress in the competition as the Black Queens chase an elusive first continental title.
But on Friday, the Black Queens who lead the standings in the group would seek to record yet another victory when they meet Cameroon.
"We have been used to leaving the competition early, but this time around we have a new team which is capable of beating any team in this CAN," the Ghana captain said.
Rallying from a goal down to beat Algeria on Tuesday has given Okoe and the rest of her colleagues renewed confidence in the competition.
And a win against Cameroon would boost Ghana's title ambitions in the eight-team competition in South Africa as a place in the semi-final beckons.
"With our determination at this moment, I am convinced that the trophy is at our doorstep,” she said.
