New Crystal Health Services (NCHS), a private healthcare delivery organization has organized a three day Customer Service delivery training for its staff at its Ashaiman branch in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.
The Customer service training programme is expected to upgrade employees’ knowledge in the delivery of healthcare, re-orient them in patient expectations and create a reawakening of vision, mission and values of the New Crystal Health Services brand among employees of the hospital.
Next to the Korle-Bu and Komfo Anokye teaching hospitals, the NCHS Ashiaman branch attends to more than 300,000 patients annually, making it one of the largest private medical practices in the country.
The Customer Services training, facilitated by Mr. Kweku Adumattah, a Chartered Marketer and Strategic Marketing and Management Consultant, covered areas such as building and maintaining healthy relationships, personal outlook (attitude/appearance), and professional communication.
Mr. Adumattah observed that the “enthusiasm and interest of New Crystal Staff to learn and practically demonstrate their willingness to better serve patients was highly commendable and can serve as a learning point for other medical facilities in the country.”
“This training has been different from others we’ve had in the past, it is very good and I have learnt so much not only for my work, it is important for me as a person.” Remarked one participant.
The customer service training is to be replicated in all New Crystal Health Services facilities across the country in Tema and Takoradi and is expected to become a regular activity on the staff calendar to improve service delivery in all its facilities across the country as the hospital strives to bring affordable healthcare closer to Ghanaians.
The NCHS Ashaiman branch comprises a hospital, diagnostic services, and other allied health delivery services.
