One person is feared dead and several others have sustained injuries in a car crash at Mankrong near Suhum on the Accra-Kumasi Highway.
Two Articulated trucks collided head-on after one tried to overtake a Kia truck heading to Kumasi from Accra in the early hours of Thursday.

The driver of the Kia truck, believed to be in his forties died instantly after his car skidded off the road in the process of the crash.

A VIP bus driver who tried to avoid ramming into the other vehicles veered off the road into a nearby bush., injuring some passengers on board.

Joy News’ Kofi Siaw reported that seven passengers who were injured have been conveyed to the Suhum Government Hospital for treatment.

Two days ago, scores of passengers sustained varying degrees of injuries after the vehicles they were traveling in were involved in an accident also on the Accra-Kumasi road.
