No Tribe, one of the country’s finest music groups, is set to launch a promotion Monday to give back to its numerous fans.
The promotion dubbed: No Tribe Akyedeε Promotion, according to the founder of the group, Nana Kwaku Osei popularly known as Nacy, who was speaking in an interview with Myjoyonline.com, is to add more spice to the festive celebrations of its numerous fans and Ghanaians in general.
To qualify and win, one has to simply buy No Tribe’s latest work, scratch and text a secret code to the short code 1413.
The grand prize winner will drive away a brand new KIA Picanto salon car. Other prizes to be won include laptops, Ipods, flat screens TVs, mobile phones and many others.
Nacy revealed that there will be monthly draws leading to the grand draw on April 10, 2011.
“Every month we are going to reward our fans with the highest texters walking away with laptops, mobile phones etc…just let your faith work for you,” Nacy said.
Nana Kwaku Osei, leader of the over 20-member-No Tribe, is a popular Ghanaian musician with a unique voice and signature name, Nacy. He revealed that Nacy the acronym of his name Nana (Na) Osei (cy).
He has been in the industry for more than 15 years now, recording over 500 songs, and has been behind hit songs such as No Tribe’s Nyame bohye, Cecilia Marfo’s Afunumu ba, DSP Kofi Sarpong’s Meto Dwom and a long list of others.
This down to earth gentleman told Myjoyonline.com that he was born in Takoradi but sees himself, first and foremost, as a Ghanaian without a tribe.
Interestingly, he is a multi-talented gentleman who is not only into music, but also a businessman, a painter-artist, and a home decorator.
