The Management of Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD) has presented a pick-up valued at GH¢41,000 to Mr Samuel Awuni, 2010 National Best Cocoa Farmer, in Accra.
In addition, it would sponsor him to participate in an International Agricultural Fair at an estimated cost of 8,000 dollars to learn more about modernised agriculture.
Mr Anthony Fofie, Chief Executive Officer of COCOBOD, presented keys to the vehicle and said it was management’s responsibility to show gratitude to cocoa farmers for their immense contribution towards national development.
