Former Ghana international, Laryea Kingston, has completed a 6 month deal with Northern Cypriot side, Gencik Gucu.
The 35 year old hasn’t featured in any competitive game since he parted ways with Ghanaian Giants Accra hearts of Oak three years.
He now returns to active football joining Former Ghana U20 Defender Daniel Addo who also joined from Ghanaian Premier League side Ashantigold.
Kingston has had spells with clubs including Hapeol tel Aviv, Heart of Midlothian, Vitesse Arnhem and Russian sides Krylia Sovetv, Terek Gronzyl and Lokomotiv Moscow.
The winger who is regarded as hardworking by fellow professionals has featured for the Black Stars from 2002 to 2010 and took to punditry work on TV in Ghana when he was released by Accra Hearts of Oak in 2013.
The move is expected to be Kingston’s last before he finally hangs up his boots.
