Manchester United fans will have to wait for Paul Pogba’s return to the pitch, with the FA revealing the midfielder is suspended for their Premier League opener.
Circumstances regarding the Frenchman's suspension were originally unknown, but Twitter went into overdrive over the news.
Before it became clear about why Pogba would be absent for United's match against Bournemouth on Sunday, news outlets were quick to report the story.
With the #PLkickoff this weekend, did you know four players are serving suspensions?

Finally, an answer
The reason for the £89m-man's suspension? ESPN have quoted the FA as saying Pogba will serve a one-game ban following two bookings in last season's Coppa Italia.
United fans will be left disappointed by the news as they look forward to a new season with Jose Mourinho at the helm and Zlatan Ibrahimovic up front.

It will also put a delay on working out where Pogba will fit into the United side, with the Red Devils also adding Henrikh Mkhitaryan to their squad this summer.
