Ghana international Kevin-Prince Boateng made a scoring debut for Las Palmas as he headed home a Nabil El Zhar cross in the Canary Island side’s 4-2 win over Valencia at the Mestella.
It was a terrible night for Pako Ayesteran’s side as their woes from last season continued.
Boateng, who suffered a torrid time in his second spell at AC Milan, started for Quique Setien’s side and repaid the faith he put him to head past Australian keeper Ryan to make the score the 3-1.
The German born becomes the sixth player in history to score in the four major leagues in Europe after scoring in the English Premier League, German Bundesliga, Italian Serie A and now in the La Liga.
He has played for various clubs such as Hertha Berlin, Tottenham Hotspur, Borussia Dortmund, Portsmouth, AC Milan and Schalke.
