Bechem United hat trick hero, Abednego Tetteh, has revealed he was once rejected by the Phobians.
The striker scored an impressive hat-trick to end the Phobians chances of sealing a league title.
The strike was his 12th of the season and fourth in successive matches as he edges Bechem United closer to their survival goals.
“I was there on trials but I was rejected.”
He further went on to make it clear he didn’t score to punish Hearts of Oak for rejecting him but for the benefit of his club, Bechem United.
“I had a feeling I would score hat trick praying a day before the game and I’m very happy it happened," Abednego added.
Bechem United have 38 points, three clear of the magical 41 point mark.
