A Ghanaian, Moise Avorgah of Tottenham, north London has been found guilty of the stabbing to death of his compatriot, Godwin Nii Lawson, 17, of Enfield, north London, in March 2010.
The Old Bailey (The Central Criminal Court in England) was told Godwin Lawson, an Oxford United Football & Education Academy student was attacked as he tried to help his friends in Stamford Hill, and he died at the scene.
He was stabbed in Amhurst Park at 1.50am on March 27, 2010 and a post-mortem examination gave cause of death as a stab wound to the chest.
