Police in the Northern Region say they will ensure that some youth who seized auction cars at the Tamale Regional Hospital face the full rigours of the law.
Some NDC youth marched to the hospital and seized eight out of eleven vehicles that were to be auctioned last Friday.
They accused the NDC regional executives of denying them jobs.
Although the executives gave them a twenty four hour ultimatum to return the vehicles, they have refused and are daring the police to arrest them.
Northern Regional Police Public Relations Officer, Chief Inspector Ebenezer Tetteh says, the act of the irate youth is criminal.
"Some irate youth went to the Tamale Hospital and towed eight out of the eleven vehicles which were to be auctioned. The police have taken up the matter. This is a clear case of stealing because they went to the hospital and appropriated what does not belong to them them. They unlawfully entered the premises too. Its a clear criminal case," he said.
He said the police is yet to locate where the vehicles have been sent to, adding the police have began investigations and will arrest anybody behind the criminal act.
