Head of Communications at the Presidency, Koku Anyidoho has promised fireworks when President John Mills appears before Parliament on Thursday, February 17, 2011 to deliver the 3rd State of the Nation address.
According to him, President Mills’ speech will focus on the state of the economy and how to prosecute his agenda for the Action Year.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme, Koku Anyidoho Wednesday explained that President Mills does not only see the State of the Nation Address as a constitutional duty but remains very committed in ensuring that whatever he says is implemented as part of the “Better Ghana Agenda”.
He added that President Mills in his speech will compare what he has been able to do over the past year to what he intends to do this year.
According to Koku Anyidoho, President Mills will also dwell on issues affecting the Economy, Housing, Security, Health, Foreign Policy, Agriculture and other sectors of the economy.
He promised Ghanaians of an excellent performance by the President.
“He will speak as a president, as a Commander in Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces and somebody who is really committed in building a “Better Ghana Agenda”.
