Miss Ghana 2010, Stephanie Karikari has told Hitz Entertainment News that she is recovering from a near fatal accident which occurred Tuesday, February 22 night involving her car and a taxi cab.
According to a source close to the beauty queen, the side of Stephanie’s car was hit by a taxi whilst she was driving with her driver on the Spintex Road - The taxi hit where she was seated.
The source further said neither Stephanie nor her driver sustained any injury.
She was however rushed to the Sakumono Community hospital where medical personnel checked her for internal bleeding and possible injures.
Stephanie, the source said, spent the night at the hospital and was discharged the following day.
Stephanie Karikari confirmed the accident to Hitz Entertainment News but said it was a minor accident and she is currently feeling better.
“It was a minor accident… I am better, I am recovering…I was lucky,” she said.
Stephanie, 19, who hails from Atwima Nkakom in the Ashanti region was crowned Miss Ghana 2010 on October 30 at the Accra International Conference Centre after dazzling the judges and audience at the finale.
