The National Youth Employment coordinator in the Ajumako Enyan Essiam district of the Central Region has been sacked.
Andrews Kojo Dodoo is accused of conniving with his deputy to embezzle funds.
It is alleged the two embezzled over GHS7,000 earmarked for the payment of allowances of about 95 beneficiaries of the programme through unapproved deductions.
Deputy Coordinator in charge of research and communications at the NYEP, Mutala Mohammed told Joy News the two managers will face the law.
He said the Deputy Co-ordinator of the programme in the district has also been suspended indefinitely for abetting the crime.
Mutala said a committee had been set up to investigate some other allegations that had been leveled against the sacked officer.
He said the Agric Development Bank in the district must answer for deducting the money at the behest of the District Co-ordinator when he had no power to instruct such deductions.
